Fan Casting Emerald Empress in Return to the DC Universe

Hailing from the planet Venegar, Sarya discovered the superweapon, the Emerald Eye of Ekron, and using its power, became the Emerald Empress, conquering her planet until she was driven off. Soon, she would work with the Legion of Super-Heroes in the Sun-Eater crisis, but has prominently been an enemy to them as part of the Fatal Five.
