Fan Casting Dr. Midnight (Earth-2) in Return to the DC Universe

Elizabeth Chapel of Earth-2, like her Earth-0 counterpart, was the protege of Dr. Charles McNider, the original Dr. Mid-Nite and was close to him. After helping Jade dealing with Mister Bones' cyanide touch, Elizabeth would be blinded by an oxygen explosion, and saved by Rick Tyler. Together, the two joined Infinity Inc., eventually joining in, and becoming part of the JSA when the team became the Justice Society Infinity. Like Charles, Beth uses martial arts, medical skills, and blackout bombs to help her in the fight against crime and injustice.
