Terry Thirteen is a unique expert in the field of occult studies. His family has suffered what they call the Thirteen Curse, a string of superstitious lynchings that had murdered his ancestors for a millennium. So in his field of work, Doctor Thirteen works to debunk the nature of the supernatural, even as he has seen it for himself, and his daughter Traci can use magic from her mother. Though he can be frustrated at trying to approach things logically, Terry does what he can in his field.
