A former psychologist who sought to study the nature of the human mind and psionics, Dr. Edgar Cizko had been mocked not just for his research, but his short stature. The ridicule of his work and height made Cizko snap, taking on the nickname of "Doctor Psycho" that was used to denigrate him as well as seeking revenge. Eventually awakening powerful psionic powers, Doctor Psycho has battled many times with Wonder Woman, showing quite a sadistic, misogynistic view of the world.
