Fan Casting Despero in Return to the DC Universe

Once the ruler of his home world of Kalanor due to his mighty psychic powers from his mutated third eye, Despero would gain his hatred for the Justice League of America after they had defeated him when he hypnotized them to aid him. Burning with hatred, Despero would come after the JLA in many of its incarnations, even as the JLA's robotic ally L-Ron would control his body and join their ranks. Having been bested by Starro sometime ago, Despero had "helped" R.E.B.E.L.S. with his severed head, but since has reformed his body... as he plans his next move.
