Fan Casting Dawnstar in Return to the DC Universe

Dawnstar was born on Starhaven, a colony that is inhabited by Anasazi that had been brought there from their home in the Americas in the 13th century and being genetically modified and enhanced with wings for interstellar flight. A graduate of the Legion Academy, Dawnstar was reluctant to join at first, due to her strong ties to her home, but she has made the most of her work as a Legionnaire to help her parents and Starhaven. She also has formed a relationship with Wildfire, even if it cannot easily be physical due to Drake's unique condition as well as his new shell and his learning to control his heat.
