The daughter of the first Bug-Eyed Bandit, like her brother Bert, Brie Larvan was left with her father Bertram's research and technology, something she used in various research. Eventually, like her father and brother, Brie turned to crime, developing a kind of cyber-bee, even coming up with poison similar to bees, but more lethal to humans, which led her to go after the staff at Ivy University, her old alma mater, with Bert's help, leading the two to face the Atoms of Ray Palmer and Ryan Choi.
