Fan Casting Brimstone in Return to the DC Universe

Created by Darkseid during Operation: Humiliation in his efforts to make the people of Earth distrust superheroes, Brimstone was born from a techno-seed, launched into an experimental fusion chamber in New York City that Martin Stein worked in. When he awoke, Brimstone started terrorizing the city, claiming to be an "avenging angel" out to rid the world of "false gods" and "graven images" (i.e., superheroes). Though he would be stopped, Brimstone remains a dangerous threat to Earth, and has shown how powerful he is each time he has appeared.
