Fan Casting Blackbat in Return to the DC Universe

The daughter of David Cain and Lady Shiva, Cassandra was trained by her father to know fighting as her first language, not learning to speak for years. Eventually, Cassandra realized killing was wrong and fled from her father. Eventually, she would become a part of the Batman family, becoming the fourth Batgirl. When Bruce supposedly died at the hands of Darkseid in the Final Crisis, Cassandra gave up being Batgirl, passing the mantle onto her friend Stephanie Brown. When Bruce returned, Cassandra rejoined the Batman family, now calling herself Blackbat.
