Fan Casting Atom Smasher in Return to the DC Universe

The grandson of Terry Berg, the former supervillain Cyclotron, and godson to his old enemy Al Pratt, the original Atom, Al Rothstein grew up hearing the stories of his godfather's adventures as the Atom with the JSA, which inspired him to want to be a superhero too. Eventually, Al discovered he inherited DNA from his grandfather and a metagene to allow him to increase his size and mass. Taking on the name Nuklon, Al became a charter member of Infinity, Inc., then also joined the JLA. To better honor his grandpa and Al, Al took on the name Atom Smasher, eventually joining the JSA, which he juggles while back with the Justice League too.
