Fan Casting Alfred Pennyworth in Return to the DC Universe

Batman's closest ally and confidante, Alfred Pennyworth has served the Wayne family for years, following his father's dying wish after service in the British Army, MI5, and acting. When Thomas and Martha Wayne were murdered by Joe Chill, Alfred became Bruce's legal guardian, and bore witness to him becoming the Batman, aiding him as much as he could. While he seems stoic, Alfred cares a great deal for Bruce, seeing him as his own son as well as caring for the Batman family while tending to Wayne Manor, and providing support when he can with his many talents.
