Fan Casting Alberto Reyes in Return to the DC Universe

Born in Mexico and coming to the US as a baby, Alberto Reyes learned to become a mechanic from his father Alejandro, even serving in the US Army like him during the Dominion War, before retiring to become a mechanic and having a family. Though he would be injured and lose his garage in the year Jaime disappeared due to an injury, 'Berto is a very supportive father, even as he has had to deal with the unusual circumstances of his teenage son being a superhero.
