Fan Casting Ace the Bat-Hound in Return to the DC Universe

Ace has had a rough life among the many animals that live in Wayne Manor. He and other dogs had been trained to be attack dogs for the Joker and given playing card masks and names. Eventually, the dogs were abandoned and fought each other, with only Ace surviving. Though his mistreatment made him deemed unfit to be a pet, Alfred took a chance and took Ace in, with a large donation to the Gotham Pound. Over time, Ace opened up and became a valuable part of the Batman family, earning the playful nickname "Bat-Hound" by Jason Todd.
