Enrico Marini is a former US Army soldier and captain of the S.T.A.R.S. After completing his service in the US military,he was part of the same team as Barry in S.W.A.T where they met and became friends. Later,Enrico was scouted by Raccoon City-based private companies in 1996 as part of the "Bright Raccoon 21" initiative to found a privately funded police special forces unit - the S.T.A.R.S.
