Chris Redfield, a member of the Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance (BSAA), teams up with local agent Sheva Alomar in the African region of Kijuju to investigate a terrorist threat involving bio-organic weapons. They discover that the pharmaceutical company Tricell is behind the creation and spread of a new parasite called Uroboros, which is capable of turning humans into monstrous creatures. Along the way, Chris confronts his old enemy Albert Wesker, who plans to unleash Uroboros on humanity to create a new world order.
