(Ada's apparently not her real name??)
Role added by @thorninjag on May 1, 2026
Ada as a character pisses me off so bad. It's a repeated fake-out of character progression. The story keeps presenting moments that look like they're about to change Ada. She develops a connection with Leon. She risks herself when she doesn't have to. She shows hints of conscience. She appears conflicted about the people she works for. She repeatedly chooses not to take the most selfish option available. Those are normally the ingredients of an arc. People are trained to see those moments and think "Okay, we're going somewhere with this." Then the story hits the reset button. Not once. Not twice. Over and over. This would change that and give her at LEAST a tiny bit of "what am I doing?" clarity.
