Seventh film in the Resident Evil franchise.
After receiving a mysterious message, Ethan Winters travels to Louisiana to find his wife, who has been missing and presumed dead for three years, his investigation leads him to a seemingly abandoned property, where he is kidnapped and held captive by a strange family. After discovering that the family suffers from mutations caused by a fungus present in the region, Ethan will have the help of Zoe, a member of the family that captured him, to save his family and escape there alive.
