Mikhail was a Red Army lieutenant discharged after the end of the Soviet Union. With the fragmentation of the USSR several regional separatist conflicts arose,in this context Mikhail joined a guerrilla to which his wife belonged and began to organize terrorist attacks that liberated several peoples. Using his leadership skills,he was successful in several actions,but was captured by government troops and forced to join the U.B.C.S in exchange for the integrity of their men. He was sent to Raccoon City as commander of the U.B.C.S Delta Team and during the battle Mikhail was seriously wounded.
