Marvin was a police officer who served within the Raccoon Police Department. Branagh rallied a small group of officers to plan an evacuation. Rita escaped and showed up in an armoured police vehicle to rescue, Marvin and the remaining survivors, the undead flooded the station's front yard, Branagh was infected amid the chaos and lured the creatures away for the survivors to escape. Marvin stumbled to his office in a bittersweet victory. Later that evening, Jill would enter the station, discovering Marvin laying unconscious. A short while later, Branagh rescues Leon from zombies when he crawls under a shutter, and Marvin meets Claire requesting her to rescue survivors in the other rooms.
