A subordinate of the toppled president Ignacio Sanchez, Vicente de Santa's life was spared by John Marston in the year 1911 after he revealed the location of Van der Linde gang member Javier Escuella. He was later executed by Jack Marston, John's son, during the chaos which followed the U.S intervention in Mexico.
