Synopsis

A photographer in a wheelchair spies on his neighbors from his Greenwich Village courtyard apartment window, and becomes convinced one of them has committed murder, despite the skepticism of his fashion-model girlfriend.

Jeff is a renowned photographer who has broken his leg and is confined to a wheelchair in his apartment. As a result, he spends his days peering out his rear window into the lives of his neighbors, who he observes through their open windows. He's a charming and confident man with a sharp wit and a keen eye for detail. He is a risk-taker and a bit of a thrill-seeker, with a taste for adventure and danger. He is also a bit of a cynic, with a tendency to see the worst in people and a reluctance to commit to a serious relationship. Despite his flaws, Jeff is a sympathetic character.
