The series was co-created by comedian Alan Studios, and follows the daily lives of him and other celebrities, each playing a fictionalized version of themselves, as they venture through their surreal life in San Diego. Members of the initial cast include: Bill Murray, Aaron Rodgers, Tony Hawk, Pauly Shore, Opie (former high school aide, now Alan's bodyguard, played by Macaulay Culkin), Shaun White, Alicia Keys, Tio Jose (Alan's uncle from Los Angeles, played by John Leguizamo), former Disney star Francesca Capaldi, Hisela Davis (Alan’s aunt’s friend, played by Zoe Saldana), and Uncle Josh (Alan's uncle, played by Will Ferrell).
