After obtaining the Egg and winning the contest, Wade Watts becomes the boss of GSS. But he finds out the Egg has an inscription on it, telling him that there is another contest... a contest to find seven shards and restore the siren's soul, but only the heir of James Halliday (the former boss of GSS} can obtain said shards.
