The film was written, co-produced, co-edited and directed by James Cameron (in his animated directorial debut) and stars Kelly Marie Tran, Awkwafina, Gemma Chan, Patrick Wilson, Ross Butler, Benedict Wong, Sung Kang, Thalia Tran, Patti Harrison, Izaac Wang, Daniel Dae Kim, Sandra Oh, François Chau, Dichen Lachman, with Lucille Soong, and Stephen Lang. Joe Roth, Gale Anne Hurd, Jon Landau, Peter Del Vecho and Osnat Shurer served as producers.
