Isolated on a planet of glass and steel, the city of Arborium is a world apart. The Dendrians have developed a peaceful and nature-friendly civilization there, under the protection of the giant trees of Ravenwood, the last forest in this world controlled by the Empire of Maw.
Ark, a young plumber's apprentice, accidentally discovers a plot to plunder the natural resources of Arborium, his beloved city. He will then have to escape Lady Fenestra, the seductive emissary of the Maws, and Petronio Grasp, a young Dendrien aristocrat who has fallen under her thumb. Hunted and left for dead, Ark will have seven days to save his people.
