The nephew of Mayor Najjar, who is a "ne'er-do-well" who struggles with a gambling addiction and lives far away. Very far, as he normally lives in the UK. Despite having not spoken to his uncle since he was a schoolboy, he comes to Dusk River in the off-chance he was left anything in his uncle's will.
