After her parents die in a plane crash, the brave and curious teenage girl Yuko Kakeguiri is raised by her aunt, who gives her a magical book as a birthday present. Yuko discovers the book, created by her mother, and meets new friends in the form of eight rainbow creatures, and transfromation as Fairy of Rainbow magic. She must fight the evil witch Hecatina, who is determined to take over the kingdom and restore Rainbownia to peace and happiness.
