Synopsis

Born in Saigon during the height of the Vietnam War, Thuy Trang's early years were marked by turmoil and uncertainty. Fleeing her war-torn homeland with her family as a refugee, she found solace in the arts, discovering a passion for acting that would shape her destiny. "Radiant Spirit" follows Thuy's journey as she navigates the challenges of immigrant life in America, overcoming language barriers and cultural differences to pursue her dreams. Auditioning for roles in Hollywood, she faced rejection and stereotypes but remained determined to break through barriers and shatter expectations. Her breakthrough came with the role of Trini Kwan, the Yellow Ranger, in "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers." Thuy's portrayal of the fierce and fearless Ranger resonated with audiences worldwide, making her an icon of diversity and representation in children's television.
