Lance Solomon Reddick (June 7, 1962 – March 17, 2023) was an American actor. He portrayed Cedric Daniels in The Wire (2002–2008), Phillip Broyles in Fringe (2008–2013), and Chief Irvin Irving in Bosch (2014–2020). In film, he played Charon in the John Wick franchise (2014–2025) and General Caulfield in White House Down (2013). He also portrayed Detective Johnny Basil in the fourth season of Oz (2000–01), Matthew Abaddon in Lost (2004–10), Albert Wesker and his clones in the Netflix series Resident Evil (2022), and Zeus in Percy Jackson and the Olympians (2024), the latter released posthumously and earned him a Children's and Family Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Performer nomination. He provided the voice and likeness for video game characters Martin Hatch in Quantum Break, Sylens in Horizon Zero Dawn and Horizon Forbidden West, and Commander Zavala in the Destiny franchise. A catastrophic attack hits the planet of Aquitar, home of the new Alien Rangers. In a desperate measure of having their population being destroyed, the Rangers create a route of escape, out of the morphing grid, in order to try to save their beloved ones. The escape, however, does not proceed as expected. One powerful adversary, called The Dark Leader, manages to follow them, and in battle, both sides are casted away to unknown destinations. In this conflict, the Rangers and the people of Aquitar end up trapped in their own ship, in the depths of the ocean of planet Earth. But not the Earth that they know, but one of an alternative universe, where the Power Rangers never existed. Now, without options, and about to reencounter the vile beings that destroyed their old world, the rangers need to trust their powers to five underdogs.
