The rivalry between Alain Prost and Ayrton Senna is the greatest rivalry in the history of motorsport. By 1987, Prost, realizing the benefit Senna could bring to the McLaren F1 Team, persuades team principal Ron Dennis to sign on Senna for the 1988 season, which also brings Honda to the team as an engine supplier. What follows is the two drivers battling for total domination in 5 out of the next six years, ending beautifully with them finally putting their differences aside at the end of the 1993 season just before Senna's tragic death the following year.read more
