Optimus Prime and Megatron, to a group of Cybetronians named "The Earthbots", who were born on Earth and have just begun to understand their heritage, gathering in an ancient, cavernous chamber known as the Hall of the Primes, with the two Dynamic Duos of the Autobots (Bumblebee and Wheeljack, Sunstreaker and Sideswipe) lend their signature schtick, while the Autobots are busy on a perilous mission to secure Energon resources from a remote sector of Cybertron. The story follows the orphans Optimus and Megatron; the pair become as close as brothers in a forbidden friendship. The chance meeting sets in motion an expansive journey of an extraordinary group of misfits searching for their destiny, their bonds will be tested as they work together to evade a threatening and deadly foe.
