Synopsis

The series follows the lives of four girls – Spencer Hastings, Hanna Marin, Aria Montgomery, and Emily Fields – whose clique falls apart after the disappearance of their leader, "Alison DiLaurentis". Three years later, when the girls are juniors in high school, Alison's body is found, and they begin receiving various messages from someone using the alias "A" who threatens to expose their secrets and get revenge.

Description of Kathleen Fields:

Kathleen is not described as a great dresser in the books. At one point in "Twisted" she is described as wearing "a blue dress that hit at an unattractive spot between her knees and her calves, and she carried a fake snake-skin bag under her arm like it was a loaf of French bread." She is not a typical Rosewood rich wife, so she doesn't fit in with the sophistication of Veronica Hastings.
