Shahin is often an extremely proud and obnoxious man. He often looks down on his neighbors for any reason he wants and will usually address them as hillbillies or rednecks. This behavior has been said to have caused problems with neighbors in other states and to be the reason he and his family had to move so much since he refused to get along with others. However, he strives to be better and more hardworking in life, and shows that someone from the Middle East can be just as good, if not better than white people can, especially when it comes being the Number One Power Ranger.
