Derek Miller is a 25-year-old young man who is an agent for Hexagon. Because of his high endurance, he has been chosen to wield the Green Ranger Powers, said to be the most powerful Ranger powers ever created. Derek acts like a double agent, giving information for Hexagon and the Beetle Rangers. Originally, he sees himself higher than the three Hexagon Rangers. As the series progresses, Derek starts to see the Rangers' abilities from their inner strength. Derek, in his past, had lost his mother in an accident and his father left him before he was born. He was taken to an orphanage when he would spend 8 years there, until he was recruited by Tommy Oliver, in 2000, to be an agent for Hexagon.
