Synopsis

Years after the evil clone of Lord Zedd was defeated by the Cosmic Fury Rangers, three scientists, Billy Cranston, Rocky DeSantos and Jerry Fawkes, use the powers of the Morphing Grid to create new powers. Billy and Rocky wanting to use them to upgrade the Cosmic Fury powers by severing their links to the Dino Fury powers, while Jerry intending to purify the dark powers of the grid, such as former foes the Power Rangers have faced over the years, to create his own new team of rangers. Soon, the former two's expiriment ends pretty successfully, and is able to create a new team of rangers, known as the Cosmic Force, with eleven rangers created, along with a whole new ranger power created using the powers of a phoenix, tailor made for people from certain galaxies, however, the latter's expiriment goes horribly wrong and Dr. Fawkes is presumed to be dead. However, once the ceremony to have the ranger candidates harnass the new powers commences, a mysterious threat, known as Darkmatter, crashes the event, and corrupts all but four of the rangers, forcing them to find new candidates for the rangers, which end up being the offspring of each ranger.

Description of Richard "Rick" Kanic-Leocor (Red Cosmic Ranger):

Rick is very similar to his mother Viera, describing her to him as someone who was unpredictable, kind, honest, and loyal, someone a great leader should be, but also sometimes ruthless, quick to anger, and irrational, just like a lion. Something Rick shares quite a lot, and like his father Mick, he is often anti-social, and sometimes likes to crack jokes at others' expenses, especially when they do something stupid. He also gets easily excited a lot, always having a strong superstition that everything he does is dependent on "luck", whether good or bad, and always gets excited when something goes his way.
