The entire Milky Way Galaxy has been taken over by galactic invaders, known as the Tenebrian Empire, and Earth is the last free stronghold. With the universe under their thrall, Dr. Billy Cranston creates the Cosmic Force Rebellion and assembles a team of twelve ultimate saviors, chosen by the Super Cosmic Orbs, upgraded versions of the Cosmic Orbs, created the galaxy's liberation. Twelve different people from different galaxies arise, forming the newest team of heroes, Power Rangers Cosmic Force.
