Synopsis

In the island of Desiree, there's a special tradition. Every few generations, the Legendary Pokemon Jirachi will awaken, and in celebration the island holds a festival that culminates in a tournament where Pokemon and trainers fight side-by-side, all so that the winner can have any one of their wishes granted by Jirachi! Talented trainers from all over the globe are invited, and you, the champion of the Ferrum League, are one of them! But as the tournament proceeds, and the competitors become afflicted with Shadow Synergy Stones and corrupted, it comes to light that something is brewing underneath the festivities, and one of the competitors may be the culprit—leading you to find out who and save the tournament from becoming ground zero for a worldwide Shadow Pokemon phenomenon! ‖ Fancast for a hypothetical Pokken sequel. Description of Additional Pokemon Partners for Ferrum Champion:

In addition to Pikachu, the Ferrum Champion can partner up with seventeen other Pokemon that are unlocked as partners via side missions, giving them one partner Pokemon for each type. This is where you can suggest what those Pokemon should be—there must be one for each type, and they can only be second-stage, single-stage or fully evolved Pokemon of those types (no typeswapping outside of canon instances, like regional variants) and cannot be ones who are partnered to the other competitors, and submissions will be closed once there's one rep for each type.
