Synopsis

Ash, Misty, Brock and Pikachu come across an abandoned temple that is said to have been the birthplace of the world's most ancient Pokémon guardian, Mew. Shortly afterwards, they are invited to a "Trainer Luncheon Party" on an island off the coast of Vermillion City, but all is not as it seems. Team Rocket also seem to be invested in this, and the two groups rush to get to the bottom of the mysterious invitation, which seems to be connected to the city's missing Pokémon nurse.

Description of A quiet night at home. (Post-Credits):

Luigi and Daisy are watching a horror movie on television at Luigi's house, where Luigi is planning to propose to Daisy, when suddenly, Professor E. Gadd bursts into the house, drenched by the storm outside. He tells them that the ghosts helping him in his lab are under some kind of hypnosis, and are destroying the place!
