Synopsis

One day, without any sort of warning, all the adults disappeared from the world of Pokemon, and the kids who were left behind have found themselves at a loss as they try to move on or find out what became of those around them... Among these kids being a group of five orphans, who, following the mysterious disappearance of their caretakers, set off on a journey across the Pokemon World to discover what happened to the adults and how to bring them back. ‖ Fancast for a hypothetical Pokemon Mystery Dungeon game. Description of Popplio (English Dub):

The second-in-command of Team Steam, one of several exploration teams who apprentices in the same guild as Snivy's team. Popplio's not quite as adventure hungry as his teammates, and was initially adverse to adventuring—but the thought of becoming a famous adventurer and making a new name for himself after coming out as a boy was too tempting, and he supposes the adventures aren't as bad as he thought either! And with the adults gone, he's taken this as his chance to really shine as an adventurer.
