Synopsis

A group of nomads looking for a new home after a disaster from beyond the stars devastated their old one, a clan of survivors seeking sanctuary in the midst of a brutal war, and a team of scholars and explorers seeking answers to prevent a great oncoming tragedy. What do these three groups all have in common? They all resided in the history-laden Sleeping Ruins at different points in history! But when our team of archaeologists stumbles upon a strange site that they believe holds the answers they seek, they're suddenly flung into the distant past or future, and must now survive this strange world and retrieve their scattered ranks with help from locals of that time, all while searching for answers to their present-day problem... ‖ fancast for a hypothetical PMD game. Voltorb's a reckless and dangerous sort who's always getting itself into trouble, and believes itself to be invincible because of its ability to self-destruct and come back—much to the ire of its teammates. But, underneath that foolhardy attitude lies a 'mon who sees no meaning in the life that the apocalyptic, wartorn future provides and holds no care for its own safety because of this, until the heroes' friendship and concern makes it change its tune...
