Synopsis

A group of nomads looking for a new home after a disaster from beyond the stars devastated their old one, a clan of survivors seeking sanctuary in the midst of a brutal war, and a team of scholars and explorers seeking answers to prevent a great oncoming tragedy. What do these three groups all have in common? They all resided in the history-laden Sleeping Ruins at different points in history! But when our team of archaeologists stumbles upon a strange site that they believe holds the answers they seek, they're suddenly flung into the distant past or future, and must now survive this strange world and retrieve their scattered ranks with help from locals of that time, all while searching for answers to their present-day problem... ‖ fancast for a hypothetical PMD game. Description of Omanyte (English Dub):

One of the teammates you gain while stuck in the past. Omanyte is a stubborn and headstrong Pokemon who speaks her mind whether others like it or not, and tends to butt heads with the other nomads she's currently traveling with. This abrasive attitude, however, is born largely of the behaviors she's had to adopt after losing her village to a cosmic disaster, with her and her friend Kabuto being the only survivors. By befriending her, however, you help her open her mind and heart and show she doesn't have to rely just on herself.
