Synopsis

A group of nomads looking for a new home after a disaster from beyond the stars devastated their old one, a clan of survivors seeking sanctuary in the midst of a brutal war, and a team of scholars and explorers seeking answers to prevent a great oncoming tragedy. What do these three groups all have in common? They all resided in the history-laden Sleeping Ruins at different points in history! But when our team of archaeologists stumbles upon a strange site that they believe holds the answers they seek, they're suddenly flung into the distant past or future, and must now survive this strange world and retrieve their scattered ranks with help from locals of that time, all while searching for answers to their present-day problem... ‖ fancast for a hypothetical PMD game. Description of Kabuto (English Dub):

One of the teammates you gain while stuck in the past. Kabuto used to be quite lively and energetic, but after losing most of his village in a cosmic disaster born of the stars, became quiet and reclusive. He mostly clings to Omanyte, his only friend who survived the disaster, and generally just does what his new tribe asks of him. With the heroes' help, however, he slowly comes back out of his shell and gets back to his old self.
