Synopsis

A group of nomads looking for a new home after a disaster from beyond the stars devastated their old one, a clan of survivors seeking sanctuary in the midst of a brutal war, and a team of scholars and explorers seeking answers to prevent a great oncoming tragedy. What do these three groups all have in common? They all resided in the history-laden Sleeping Ruins at different points in history! But when our team of archaeologists stumbles upon a strange site that they believe holds the answers they seek, they're suddenly flung into the distant past or future, and must now survive this strange world and retrieve their scattered ranks with help from locals of that time, all while searching for answers to their present-day problem... ‖ fancast for a hypothetical PMD game. Description of Grimer (English Dub):

One of the teammates you gain while stuck in the future. Grimer's a child born of the war, having been brought into existence from the chemical waste left over from various past battles, and he's lived her entire life scraping by on the streets as most fear him because of him origins. He's had to grow up fast for such a young kid, and views life through a cynical lens. By befriending him, the heroes give the boy the loving family and hope for the future he so desperately desires.
