Synopsis

A group of nomads looking for a new home after a disaster from beyond the stars devastated their old one, a clan of survivors seeking sanctuary in the midst of a brutal war, and a team of scholars and explorers seeking answers to prevent a great oncoming tragedy. What do these three groups all have in common? They all resided in the history-laden Sleeping Ruins at different points in history! But when our team of archaeologists stumbles upon a strange site that they believe holds the answers they seek, they're suddenly flung into the distant past or future, and must now survive this strange world and retrieve their scattered ranks with help from locals of that time, all while searching for answers to their present-day problem... ‖ fancast for a hypothetical PMD game. Description of Baltoy (English Dub):

One of the teammates you gain while stuck in the future. Baltoy is a stalwart Pokemon from a small land that was completely wiped off the map by war, and is desperate to enact revenge for all those it lost—but, it's far from a soldier, and neither are most of its allies, so it mostly just stews in the ruins of what was once its home. Be friending it, the heroes help it avenge its fallen home and friends, and perhaps help it find hope for a future in spite of all it's lost.
