Synopsis

A group of nomads looking for a new home after a disaster from beyond the stars devastated their old one, a clan of survivors seeking sanctuary in the midst of a brutal war, and a team of scholars and explorers seeking answers to prevent a great oncoming tragedy. What do these three groups all have in common? They all resided in the history-laden Sleeping Ruins at different points in history! But when our team of archaeologists stumbles upon a strange site that they believe holds the answers they seek, they're suddenly flung into the distant past or future, and must now survive this strange world and retrieve their scattered ranks with help from locals of that time, all while searching for answers to their present-day problem... ‖ fancast for a hypothetical PMD game. Description of Archen (English Dub):

One of the teammates you gain while stuck in the past. Archen is a Pokemon who dreams of flying even thought its impossible for her species, and is constantly getting herself hurt from trying to fly. Despite others' discouragement, she desperately wants to fly someday as clinging to that little bit of hope has helped her keep going throughout the troubles of leaving her home... And with the heroes' friendship and help, she may just achieve that dream.
