One day, a human girl wakes up to find herself in a strange forest town populated entirely by Pokemon who act as humans do, and soon finds that she herself has been transformed into a strange Pokemon she's never seen before. After befriending a timid and lonesome Kubfu, the two of them learn from the town's guardian deity that the three countries surrounding them have angered their guardian deities, and unless they can bring a stop to this conflict, it'll spell the end of them all and maybe more.
