In the Blooming Polders, a peaceful and lush land inhabited near-exclusively by Grass-type Pokemon, an evil group of Pokemon rises up with the intentions of stealing the Life Cores that make everything on this land bloom to revive their master Yveltal. Xerneas, who resides over the Polders, attempts to stop them but is foiled, and in a last-ditch effort to protect the Polders, sends out six crystals containing the power of life itself.
