Synopsis

The story follows Kayden/Kazuto, an 11 year old boy who, after going through a strange door in a cave, ends up in a world only lived by Pokémon and becomes a Riolu himself. Now, Kayden embarks an adventure with his new friend Pikachu to find a way to go back home and save the world.

Description of Quaxly (English Dub):

An 11 year old in Rockbell Village, Quaxly is Pikachu's best friend beside Scorbunny, member of his club and son of one of the three members of the Aether team who retired. He is very lazy when it comes to other things, but very talented in dancing, which he finds a way to honor his deceased mother. Kayden meets Quaxly when arrives late at school and he's very surprised Pikachu made a new friend, to the point he handshakes the bot very fast. He's lazy, but a good-hearted kid who always makes jokes, but don't say a word about his hair, or he gets mad like a beast.
