Synopsis

The story follows Kayden/Kazuto, an 11 year old boy who, after going through a strange door in a cave, ends up in a world only lived by Pokémon and becomes a Riolu himself. Now, Kayden embarks an adventure with his new friend Pikachu to find a way to go back home and save the world.

Description of Piplup (English Dub):

A 12 year old kid from the Uderzo orphanage. Piplup is very morose and lonely, because they were abandoned by their parents, causing them to having trust issues with others, except for Shinx, their only friend. One day, Piplup and Shinx snuck out of the orphanage into a Mystery Dungeon and Shinx got kidnapped, this causes Piplup to ask Kayden and Pikachu for help and went to save the poor kid. Piplup reluctantly thanks the group, and then, Pikachu proposes them to join them, to which they reluctantly accept, but this is the start for them to finally open up to others.
