At first he likes the idea of pleasantville, but as Jennifer brings life to it he begins to hate it. He protests her bringing colour to the world until he sees injustice of burning all books in the town. After this he helps her fix the world. He works at the local burger joint with the chef being his best friend, and he falls for the girl by the name of Margaret Henderson.
